I have had a fairly decent day, except for P.E. when (unnamed) told me I suck and to let him do all the work. well I had taken enough CRAP from this guy to last a lifetime, so I just told the teacher. He denied it and I knew he was in trouble. I hope he doesn't do this stuff again...

Today went fine. the weather got really bad, and, at 9am it looked like 9pm it was so dark!! during fourth period the teacher said smarta**. then during lunch i went home because the weather got soooo bad...

sorry i havnt blogged ive been busy. nothing has happpened and its kind of weird. I have been doing research and science and so on. Theres really nothing new except no bullying. like i said... weird.

Yes, yesterday I didn't blog, my mother took my tablet. Nothing happened yesterday except when I was at lunch a friend of mine, was being bullied by her other "friend" and when I tried to talk to her about it, she called me and my friend a b****. My friend wants to know what she did which is pretty sad if the bully won't tell you, especially if it WAS a friend. Today nothing happened so far but that's probably because its an early out.

during first period we are doing a research paper. During second we did a 'webquest'. during third we did a poster for the teacher, durimg fourth we were learning about eating disorders, during fifth we were singing, during sixth we were just reading, during seventh we were doing a shuttle run, during eight we were checking our papers, but during eight i saw a bright yellow highlighter cap flying and it hit me square in the face... everyone was laughing, including me, because it was pretty funny. a kid was going into hysterics, which was funny to watch because i have never seen him laugh so hard. I knew they didn't mean to. how it happened was a kid was bouncing the cap on his desk and it hit the corner just right and was sent flying into my face. it was pretty dang funny. it didn't evenhurt at all!

We are learning about reliable sites in language, and taking 3 different tests in science. We had a study guide for social studies and a video for foods. choir was choir. Nobody tortured me, although (unnamed) was being super nice to me... little creepy. Reading we took a test, but thats nothing new. PE someone told me i was disgusting. pre algebra we took a long test but thats it. Oh, yes, and today was a two hour late start.

I did not blog yesterday as i was sick. Basically nothing really happened. nobody harrassed me. we learned about paragraphs and we all sang the freedom song. kind of a boring day.

Day 3

During second period, my teacher was being freakishly nice. He scared me and my friend half-to-death. Other than that my day went fine; no bullying, nobody too nice.

Day 2

Most of the day was fine nothing happened for like four periods. Then during fifth period two girls were being unusually nice to me... CREEPY!!! Then during eighth period, (unnamed) called me Kat Cauliflower. Talk about MEAN!!! LOL!!! The teacher helped me again though, and told (unnamed) to shut up. (unnamed) tried to defend himself but failed miserably. That just so happened to be my day.

“Bullying”
To Whom It May Concern:

I am a 13 year old girl attending school at the Red Oak Middle School in Red Oak, Iowa. I used to like school, but now beg my parents to stay home almost every day. I thought when the government passed bullying laws things would change, but they haven’t. I hate school now. People call me stupid (which I am NOT), and weird and various other things. If I say or do something back I am the one that gets in trouble from the school, despite the fact that I have complained repeatedly about the bullying. Nothing ever happens to the bullies. My mom keeps me home as much as she can, but says I have to go to school most days. If she keeps me home, the school demands to know why (which she says isn’t really any of their business, I’m HER daughter, not theirs), so she doesn’t do it as much as she would like to. She doesn’t like this anymore than I do, especially since she was bullied in school as a child, too. There have been studies done about how bullying affects children. Why, then, is the entire Red Oak school district choosing to ignore this problem? No wonder they have a failing grade when it comes to overall school performance. My mom wonders how they can teach me anything when they’re failing. We will be moving out of the state in September. It can’t come fast enough for me; maybe I can go to a school that I actually enjoy again. When are the schools going to start obeying the laws about bullying? Aren’t we all supposed to obey laws? Or should I just keep this to myself and live with it? There are plenty of other kids in my school who go through this daily as well. Sincerely, Kat Colabello

Day 1: no real bullying... good day today. So-and-so replied to my mothers comment on WOWT but the comment was deleted. (unnamed same person) had a short dialoge with me and it went like this:
Person- How are you bullied? I've never seen you get bullied.
Me: Maybe it's because you don't hang around me. You and (unnamed) bully me. should I go on with names?
Person: Yes.
Me: Well there's-
Teacher: SHUT UP (unnamed)!
